Mobile Applications Privacy Policy
This privacy policy document will help you understand how Federal Board of Revenue, Govt. of Pakistan (FBR) and its subsidiary Pakistan Revenue Automation (Private) Limited) (PRAL) uses and protects the data you provide to us when using our Mobile Applications e.g., Tax Asaan, DNFBP etc. This policy stand implemented for any Mobile Application distribution platforms.

What User Data We Collect
When you use our Applications, we DO NOT Collect any of the following Data:
· Phone/Device information (IMEI, Contacts, Calls etc.).
· Your contact information and email address.
· Other information such as interests and preferences.
· Data profile regarding your online behavior on application(s).
Ours app strictly stick to the features that are required by FBR and don’t collect any information that is un-necessary to our app.
This is to be kept in mind that Taxpayer’s Profile Information, is maintained as per obligations under Taxation Laws, approved by Parliament of Pakistan and respective federal ministry/authorities. Such info may/is visible to user with their respective Login on respective Websites/Apps and user has right to changed, altered under allowed rules & regulations.
Collecting Geo-Location Information
In Tax Asaan App, while registering for Sales Tax, we do require Geo Location to identify the exact location of the Utility meters installed and that of Manufacturing Unit as well so that during the Registration Verification Process, FBR Teams can visit and verify all the information pertaining to the Sales Tax Registration Request and Manufacturing Unit to be registered. This information is required to make ensure that user has provided correct information about the unit and not using any deceiving tactics for this registration. This information is kept safe and is visible only to the respective Officers and is never shared with anyone else in or outside FBR.
Other than the situation specified, we do not collect any Geo-location information from the device/user for any purpose
Why We Collect Your Data
As mentioned in the above section, we are collecting only that information from the users that is mandatory under legal obligations and purely necessary to proceed with requested feature, We do not ask user to provide any family or personal information at all.
Payment Information
Our Apps DO NOT require or store any critical Payment information such as Credit/Debit Card Numbers, Security/CVV codes, Expiration info etc.) at all.
Safeguarding and Securing the Data
FBR & PRAL are committed to securing your data and keeping it confidential. FBR & PRAL has done all in its power to prevent data theft, unauthorized access, and disclosure by implementing the latest technologies and software, which help us safeguard all the information we collect online.

For Mobile Applications, using Cookies is not applicable by any means.

Our app do/may contain links to other sites which mostly include Help Articles Sites of FBR/PRAL or any other related Govt/Institutional sites which may help user build understanding of the respective app or related reference materials.
We ensure not to include any link to social media or any other communication apps & websites that have no link with our legal and institutional process and requirements.
Restricting the Collection of your Personal Data
As already stated, we by, no means, intend to ask, maintain any of the personal, financial, interests and any sensitive information from the user (except those chunks of information that are truly necessary for processing & operational purposes and as allowed by Governmental and official laws.
